About
The New Rochelle Public Library is a community resource that seeks to improve the life of every citizen in our city. It is dedicated to encouraging learning in all stages of life, to protecting intellectual freedom and to providing fair and equal access to information.
Our Local History Collection continually grows through donations from the public. It now includes over 2,500 non-circulating books, pamphlets, maps and atlases; as well as several hundred oral histories, close to 10,000 photographs and postcards, and over 55,000 reproduced newspaper and magazine clippings. Library staff and volunteers steadily work on the unending task of processing materials for online accessibility.
New Rochelle Public Library is a member of the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council.
Collections
From 1861 to 1965, Davids Island, New Rochelle, NY was the site of several military encampments and army posts. This collection provides an important visual primary source depicting the historic architecture and landscape of Davids Island, and oral histories with former Fort Slocum service members and residents and others associated with Davids Island.
Part of the collection of historic photographs that are housed in the New Rochelle Public Library Archive. This series of approximately 800 items are mostly from 1880-1923 and focus on: farming, landscape, early Houses, railway construction, Hudson Park, Fort Slocum, Long Island Sound, and the New Rochelle Water Company and pump station.

Hand-drawn maps executed by Morgan H. Seacord depicting the southern portion of New Rochelle with particular attention to indigenous encampments or villages, topographical features of the shoreline and named properties and thoroughfares as they existed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The yearbooks provide an annual description of athletic, cultural, social and other student organizations' activities at the New Rochelle High School. Photographs of faculty and staff, students and their activities are documented within these volumes.

The New Paltz Town Records provides documentation concerning many aspects of government in New Paltz, New York from the time of its founding in 1677 through the late 19th century.
New Paltz Town Records is a member of the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council.

This collection includes personal papers created or kept by individuals and families chiefly of southern Ulster County, NY. The majority of the papers date from the mid-1600s through 1830.

The New Hartford Public Library (NHPL) is a full service member of the Mid-York Library System, a confederation of around fifty libraries in the Oneida-Madison-Herkimer Counties’ region of Central New York. The library offers many special programs and boasts the third highest circulation in the area. NHPL provides a multitude of current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a number of formats to meet its patrons’ educational, research, lifestyle, and recreational needs. The library connects thousands of patrons with websites that enhance their lives. The NHPL leadership, in this era of rapid technological progress, believes that adaptation and change are the new norms and pledges to meet the evolving needs of all it serves.

Network of Religious Communities
About
The Network of Religious Communities (NRC) is a consolidation and expansion of the former Buffalo Area Council of Churches (1854) and the Buffalo Area Metropolitan Ministries (1975). Members include denominations/faith coordinating bodies, religious organizations and congregations serving Western New York and the Niagara Peninsula of Southern Ontario, Canada. Individuals supportive of the mission and purpose of the Network may become an auxiliary members.
The Network is a forum providing opportunities for cooperative ventures, the strengthening of our religious communities and the betterment of the community as a whole.
The archival collection of the NRC includes materials such as Board Minutes, Annual Reports, Annual Awards programs, Special Projects, Newsletters, publications, and other materials that document the NRC and its predecessor organizations, Erie County Sabbath School Association/Erie County Sunday School Association, Buffalo Federation of Churches, Buffalo Council of Churches, the Inter Church Council of Church Women, Council of Churches of Buffalo & Erie County, Buffalo Area Council of Churches, and the Buffalo Area Metropolitan Ministries.

An Ecumenical Wind in Buffalo provides a comprehensive overview of one hundred and twenty years of ecumenical cooperation in the Buffalo, New York region. Beginning with the formation of the Erie County Sunday School Association in 1857, it traces the history of cooperation through the Inter-Church Missionary Union and the numerous configurations of Council of Churches of Erie County, to the Buffalo Area Metropolitan Ministries and Buffalo Area Council of Churches in 1977.

Nazareth University (formerly Nazareth College) is a coeducational, independent learning community on a suburban campus just outside Rochester, N.Y. The Nazareth University Archives hold papers, photographs, memorabilia and miscellaneous items going back to Nazareth's founding in 1924.

NKI is a research facility of the New York State Office of Mental Health, located on the Rockland Psychiatric Center campus in Orangeburg, NY. Since its founding in 1952, NKI researchers have made numerous contributions to the field, always with the ultimate goal of improving the lives of people suffering from psychiatric disorders.

Nassau Free Library
About
The Nassau Free Library was organized in 1881. The first space was upstairs over Clapper’s Meat Market at the corner of Maiden and Church Streets. $25 a year was charged as rent. Five years later the library moved into the Huested Building at the corner of Elm and Church Streets. Then in 1893 the library incorporated and moved into the current building on Church Street. The structure was purchased from the Reformed Church for $200. The collection, at that time, numbered 425 books and a circulation of 1,650.

Montauk Library
About
The Montauk Library is a School District Public Library. Operating funds for the library are collected through the School District appearing on your annual Town of East Hampton property tax bill. A board of seven trustees elected to serve five year terms govern the library. The trustees establish the policies of the library and administer the finances of the library. Day to day operations of the library are administered by the Library Director and well informed staff.
