Historical Context

The Nazareth College Arts Center opened in 1967 and introduced such performing arts as experimental theater, modern dance, circus arts, international and ethnic productions, and children’s theater to the Rochester area.

Scope of Collection

This collection contains almost 300 posters and programs relating to performance arts and events held at Nazareth College in the late 20th century through early 21st century. Many of the posters are printed on colored paper or with colored ink. The posters advertise various dance performances, drama club performances, concerts, and theatre group performances.
