Historical Context

Located near Lake Champlain in the town of Plattsburgh, New York, Clinton Community College opened in 1969 and has operated continuously since that time. It was constructed on the grounds of the former Hotel Champlain, and has since expanded to incorporate the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.

Scope of Collection

This Collection contains several postcards dating from between of points of interest around Lake Champlain. These include the Hotel Champlain and Clinton Community College, taken from both the land and the water.
