Historical Context

Bill Hecht took his camera with him on plane rides around New York State and shared his treasure trove of aerial photography with the Genoa Historical Association.  He particularly loved photographing the Finger Lakes around Tompkins and Cayuga County, with many views of the natural wonders and beauty there.
