The Newburgh Free Library is located in the City of Newburgh in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. The library's service area is the Newburgh Enlarged City School District, making it the hometown library for the City of Newburgh, the Town of Newburgh, and the Town of New Windsor. Since 1852 we have provided library resources that enhance our residents’ quality of life.
The Newburgh Free Library collects, organizes and makes available information, materials, and activities to serve the public’s informational, recreational, cultural and educational needs within the limitations of space and budget.
