The American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association (the APHGA) was founded by Bill Pomeroy of Syracuse, NY, in order to provide an organization to communicate and collaborate family information regarding the descendants of Eltweed Pomeroy. The American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association in Syracuse, NY, seeks to promote genealogical research of the many Pomeroy families in North America.
American Pomeroy Historic Genealogical Association is a member of the Central New York Library Resources Council.
Collections

The Frederick Lawrence Pomeroy Collection consists of family correspondence, news clippings, telegrams, and transcripts of sermons.

The Truman Pomeroy Family Photograph collection consists of 46 card photographs of the extended family of Truman E. Pomeroy Jr., a Civil War veteran, all dating from the mid-19th to early 20th centuries.
