Educated at the renown University of Bern, Switzerland. She immigrated into the United States some time after the arrest of her Husband (Boris Reinstein). One of the few female doctors of her time Anna Reinstein played a pivotal role in helping the people (particularly new immigrants) of Buffalo and Cheektowaga, NY. She helped organize the Socialist Labor Party and became the Editor of their newspaper SILA
