Scope of Collection

An assembled collection of records from the family of Abraham Ten Broeck (1734-1810). The records primarily pertain to his military service (1750s-1781), time as Mayor of Albany (1779-1783 and 1796-1798), and a post Revolutionary War affidavit pertaining to Beverley Robinson (1721-1792). Robinson was a loyalist during the Revolution who is suspected of playing a part in the defection of Benedict Arnold.
