The General Photo Collection is The History Center’s largest and most diverse of our many photograph collections. It is divided by subject, so it is suitable for casual browsing as well as scholarly research. The Residence sections, comprising more than 700 photographs, are organized by architectural style, so that research can be done according to residence type. There is also an index that makes the photographs searchable by address as well. Images range from the late 19th century to the early 21st century.
Scope of Collection
This collection contains a series of photographs of the residences of Ithaca and Tompkins County, NY, divided by architectural style.
