This collection contains postcards from Mineola that have been collected by the historical society. Many of the images on these postcards capture places and events that no longer exist but are from a time period in which Mineola was the center of aviation, transportation, celebrations, and military training.
Most of these postcards are from the early 1900s through the 1920s but you will also find postcards as late as the 1960s.
These images were digitized by the Long Island University students of the Palmer School of Library and Information Science for Digitizing Local History Sources in 2019 under the supervision of Director, Dr. Gregory S. Hunter.
