The Phillips House Museum, also known as the Museum of the Village of Rockville Centre, is located in a restored Victorian-era home at 28 Hempstead Avenue in Rockville Centre, New York. Considered one of the finest small museums in New York State, the Phillips House is furnished to depict life in Rockville Centre during the 19th and 20th centuries. It is open to the public on Sundays from 1 to 4 P.M. and by appointment for groups large or small. There is never an entrance fee for special events and exhibits.
The Phillips House Museum Archives was originally curated by the dedicated and diligent Archivist Marilyn Devlin. Now, Archivist Alene Scoblete is working to make the Museum's treasures available to the public on New York Heritage Digital Collections. Please check back as items are continually being uploaded.
