The Mission of the Oswego Public Library is to be the learning center for the Greater Oswego area and the place people turn to for the discovery of ideas, the joy of reading and the power of information. Community needs drive our services. We believe that library services should be delivered in a welcoming, convenient and responsive manner.
Oswego Public Library is a member of the Northern New York Library Network.
Collections

These glass plate photographs of Oswego and family trips to Michigan, Connecticut, and the Thousand Islands were taken between 1900 and 1910 by photographer Ella Merrill Crippen Wheeler.

This collection contains publications by the Oswego Historical Society from 1899 to 1976.

Photographs and documents relating to the Jewish refugees at the Fort Ontario Emergency Refugee Shelter or "Safe Haven" during World War II.
