Voices of Cayuga County is a local oral history collecting and archiving project envisioned by the Seymour Library and the Cayuga Museum of History and Art. The project's primary focus will be actively seeking out the stories of communities that have traditionally been underrepresented in their collections. These include, but are not limited to, African American, Latinx, LGBTQ+, and immigrant communities. No collective effort to encourage community storytelling has ever been coordinated in Auburn before this.
