The Peterson Scrapbooks consist of thirteen boxes of scrapbooks preserved by the Floyd Memorial Library. Covering a wide range of subjects, including Greenport, the North Fork, maritime history, ships and the sea, automobiles, local people, businesses, and other miscellaneous topics. The scrapbooks preserve newspaper clippings, photographs, postcards, programs, advertisements, and other ephemera that document the history and daily life of the region throughout the twentieth century.
