This collection of photos belonged to Mabel Smith (1896-1991), who lived most of her life on her family's farm on Smith Hill Road in Meredith, NY. The collection includes photos of Smith family members and work on their farm, as well as other scenes and ephemera from the local area in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Jean Schroeder, Mabel Smith's daughter, donated the collection to Hanford Mills Museum in 1994.
