Todd Weseloh (1946-2023) and Connie Eustis Weseloh (1927-2012), of Syracuse, were longtime canal enthusiasts and members of the Canal Society of New York State. They met at the Erie Canal Museum, where Todd worked as librarian and archivist, and Connie had been involved as a volunteer since the Museum was started in 1962 (and even before that, as part of the Syracuse Junior League's efforts to save the Weighlock Building). Todd and Connie were married in 1982 on a replica canal boat in the Canal Museum plaza. Over the years, they amassed a very comprehensive and remarkable collection of canal-related photographs, manuscripts, and books which was donated to the Canal Society in 2023.
