Historical Context

Frank Pearsell Browne (Perry) worked for the Norwich Sun for many years, primarily writing about sports with his focus being the Norwich High School. He was Editor of the Norwich Sun from 1950-1951, when he passed away. The Norwich Sun is now known as the Evening Sun. This collection reflects his work in the newspapers over his long career as he kept photos from articles and stories published by the papers he worked for.

This collection includes photographs, postcards, and ephemera relating to the history of Chenango County, New York.
