Scope of Collection

The Oral Histories of Lockport, NY, project was undertaken in conjunction with the Niagara County Historical Society. They were recorded between 1999 and 2006 by Dave Marmon, Bob Wills, John Hall, Dave Dickenson, Pat Tracy, Ann Marie Linnaberry, and Ken Boyd. The 56 individuals interviewed were born between 1899 and 1960, and they reminisce about daily life during the first half of the 20th century in and around Lockport, NY, discussing such topics as education, occupations, and local businesses.
