Town and Village of Canton

The Village of Canton is the population center of the Town and is a college community with a historic business center, two golf courses, lovely parks and museums. It is home to two universities, St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton. The Village is also the County Seat of St. Lawrence County. The Canton Historian collects many types of materials relating to the Town and Village.
