Verne Morton Photograph Collection


History Center in Tompkins County

Verne Morton’s photography concentrated on the day-to-day activities of the residents of Groton and the surrounding area. With his cumbersome glass plate view camera and tripod, Morton took remarkable photographs of farm life, family activities, and children in school and at play.

Veterans Vocational School, 1946 - 1952


Hudson Valley Community College

This is a collection of photographs of important people, places, and events; as well as documents that were used by the students and faculty in the beginning years of the college when it was a vocational school for educating returning veterans in automotive technology, machine operation and many areas of construction.

Victor Hammer Collection


Wells College - Louis Jefferson Long Library

The collection contains information surrounding exhibitions of his work, photographs of Hammer, and information on and works from the Anvil Press. Tangential materials included in the collection are the products of the Wells College Press, which uses Hammer's Press, and information about the Wells College Books Arts Center.
