First Responder Insignia of Monroe County, New York


Appellate Division Fourth Department Law Library

This collection consists primarily of scans of patches and badges from the many ambulance corps, fire departments, police departments, the Sheriff’s Department, corporate and educational institution security agencies, and other organizations currently or formally active within Monroe County, New York. A small sampling of insignia used by various state and federal agencies currently or formally active within the county is also included. The majority of scans are of items dating from the mid twentieth century to present. It is anticipated that images will continue to be added to the collection in the years to come.

Antique Boat Museum

Gar Wood was a successful speedboat racer and business owner. This collection relates to his racing career and his business,GarWood Industries, which specialized in building motorboats.

Grems-Doolittle Library 25th Anniversary


Schenectady County Historical Society

In 2016, the Grems-Doolittle Library at the Schenectady County Historical Society reached its twenty-fifth anniversary. This collection shows the construction of the Grems-Doolittle Library as well as the opening reception celebrating the official opening of the library and other items documenting the library's 25 year history.
