Oxford Memorial Library

The Burr truss is one of the most widespread timber bridge designs that can still be seen in covered bridges today. Located at the Oxford Memorial Library, the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Resource Center hosts a vast library of covered bridge related books, magazines, and newsletters from all the bridge societies in existence today, as well as some that no longer exist.

Elon Howard Eaton (1866-1935) was a noted ornithologist and author of Birds of New York. This collection includes papers related to his research, correspondence, and genealogical materials, as well as photographs of Eaton.
