Items in New York Heritage are organized into collections, which provide additional context for understanding their significance and meaning.

The Westbury Local History collection consists of still image photographs which tell the history of the Westbury area.
The Santa Clara Logging Company, run by President Ferris Meigs, was a leader in timber conservation in the Adirondack region. This collection of photographs depicts the Santa Clara Logging Company and Meigs family.
The “Working on the Erie Canal” collection contains photographs and documents relating to the canal and its workers.
Ted Schuelke was a Liverpool, New York resident and his photograph collection is comprised of pictures taken in the immediate Liverpool area and in the Adirondacks.
The Crawford Collection contains photographs and glass negatives taken around Liverpool, New York by various photographers including Toby Crawford III’s father, George “Waxy” Miller and James T. Rogers.
