About

Founded in 1956, Corning Community College (CCC) began modestly in a scattering of old buildings in the city of Corning. Today, we encompass a 550-acre main campus on Spencer Hill with a complex of eight buildings, plus an observatory, planetarium and nature center. Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region of New York State, CCC offers 40 academic programs (including four online programs), more than 800 courses, and customized business training opportunities to support students of all ages and backgrounds in our community. Serving 5,500 students, CCC also offers a variety of services within the community at our offsite locations throughout Steuben, Chemung, and Schuyler Counties.

SUNY Corning Community College - Arthur A. Houghton, Jr. Library is a member of the South Central Regional Library Council.
