Founded in 1897, The Newark Public Library maintains a small Archives Collection in its Local History Room. A limited repository of materials of local interest, the collection preserves historical records and print items pertaining to the Village of Newark and the Town of Arcadia, in Wayne County, New York.

Newark Public Library is a member of the Rochester Regional Library Council.
