The New Hartford Public Library (NHPL) is a full service member of the Mid-York Library System, a confederation of around fifty libraries in the Oneida-Madison-Herkimer Counties’ region of Central New York. The library offers many special programs and boasts the third highest circulation in the area. NHPL provides a multitude of current, high-demand, high-interest materials in a number of formats to meet its patrons’ educational, research, lifestyle, and recreational needs. The library connects thousands of patrons with websites that enhance their lives. The NHPL leadership, in this era of rapid technological progress, believes that adaptation and change are the new norms and pledges to meet the evolving needs of all it serves.
