A collection of 136 images digitized from glass plate negatives. They feature images of the cities of Albany and Troy as well as locations in Albany, Clinton, Rensselaer, and Schenectady Counties. Depicted are scenes of life in New York State in the late 19th-20th century. The images feature storefronts, residential homes, hospitals, government buildings, farms, and family photographs. The collection includes structures in Albany, NY, and Troy, NY prior to demolition to construct the New York State Education Building (1912) and Hoosick Street Bridge (late 1970s) respectively. The individuals featured in the images are currently unidentified. The ACHA wishes to identify the creator of these images and additional locations. The images may be photographs by the Lavernway or Geroux families.
